Department of gastroenterology is one of key construction unit of Zhejiang TCM Administration  Bureau and Hangzhou Health Commission. There are 7 senior doctors, 43 beds in the department. Every year more than 1500 various digestive impatients and 50,000 outpatients visit the department. The Department carries on many National Natural Science Fund, province Natural Science Fund,as well as projects from Science and Technology Bureau of Hangzhou, Hangzhou Health Commission. Obtain a few provincial achievement prize.National, provincial and municipal continuing education classes have been held several times.

Operations we are developing in the department:

1. Super-fine endoscopy technology

In 2006 we carried out superfine endoscopy.By now it has helped more than 70,000 cases. Compare with traditional endoscopy, it is more comfortable,and acceptable.  

2 Interventional therapy undersuper- fine endoscope

With the placement of super-fine intestina endoscope, it has been widely recognized and appreciated. 

3 In addition, we carried out ERCP, EMR, esophageal stent placement, gastrointestinal stenosis, esophageal varices ligation , sclerosis injection, polyps removement and various types of treatment.    

 

Recently we carry out the combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment for digestive systom diseases.
